Modern French Jive (MFJ) developed in France largely from Rock and Roll
but with a greater emphasis on style and interpreting the music;
as a resultMFJ is a more enjoyable and stylish form of partner dancing.
There is somedispute over who first brought MFJ over to England but both LeRoc
and Ceroc have played a considerable part in popularising this dance over here.

Starting September 1999 Jive Evenings are at Leicester Square on the first Friday of the month;
at Richmond on the second Friday; and at Dryburgh Hall on the last Friday.
