There is a thriving Jive scene in the UK;
West London is particularly fortunate to have a number
of organisations holding regulardances such as  Le Roc,and Cosmopolitan Jive

Modern French Jive (MFJ) developed in France largely from Rock and Roll
but with a greater emphasis on style and interpreting the music;
as a resultMFJ is a more enjoyable and stylish form of partner dancing.
There is somedispute over who first brought MFJ over to England but both LeRoc
and Ceroc have played a considerable part in popularising this dance over here.

Cosmopolitan Jive is possibly the longest established Jiveoutfit in West London.
They hold regular Jive Evenings and have dance classes
and workshops in Jive, Salsa & Merengue, and West Coast Swing.
