The Brotherhood of the CPU hasn't been updated for a while (31/5/99), but Sharkys is a more than adequate replacement as a recommended hardware site. Retailers There are of course many, many retailers of computer hardware and software; the following some of the well estabilished retailers with a presence on the internet. If you are looking for a specific product urgently then it is worth trying a large retailer like Dabs. Dabs have a very wide range of products in most categories of hardware and consumables. The choice of business and professional software is also good, and prices, if not the cheapest tend, to be competitive. A wider range of software is offered by the Software Warehouse, Software Warehouse also have a number of high street outlets. Small retailers, operating mainly or exclusively through direct chanels can offer the best value if you are willing to be flexible. the software side Microworld
carry a wide range some current, some discontinued, some specialist; e.g.
